If you’ve been yearning for some alone time with Kurt Vile, your wishes have been granted. The Philadelphia native took to social media earlier this week to announce he will be venturing on his first solo tour in 10 years.

This will be his first tour without his backing band, The Violators, but Vile will still have support from indie-folk artist Cate Le Bon as well as Stella Mozgawa (Warpaint) and Stephen Black.

Vile, who got his start with the indie rock outfit The War on Drugs, has toured alongside fellow Ernie Ball artist and collaborator Courtney Barnett. In 2018, he released his eighth studio album, Bottle In It, as well as a documentary detailing the rehearsal process for the big tour that followed its release.

The 2020 tour is expected to kick off in early April in Chicago. Check out the full list of dates below and grab tickets here.
