Hellogoodbye

Chic-pop with a touch of Studio 54, Hellogoodbye combines a visual artsy touch that blossoms with each note. The project, led by Forrest Kline, blends 70s sonic elements with timeless pop song structures. The group blew onto the scene with their smash hit “Here (In Your Arms).” Today, more refined like a fine wine, Hellogoodbye’s musicianship and bright talent shines through on their latest record titled S’Only Natural. Infectiously funky with driving bass and a vocal melody that gels with the “four on the floor” feel, Hellogoodbye will get you grooving. Listen to their album’s title track above.

D’Angelo

The founder and leading light for the late 90s neo-soul movement is the artist D’Angelo — bringing classic R&B organically back into the modern hip-hop age. Inspired by Marvin Gaye, Prince and Curtis Mayfield, there is a sweetness to the smoothness and soulful delivery of D’Angelo’s vocals and bluesy guitar. Frequently self-producing most of his own music, D’Angelo became a two-time R&B album winner, and most recently released a song titled “Unshaken” for the video game soundtrack of Red Dead Redemption 2.
