St. Vincent

Get To Know:

Ernie Ball and Ernie Ball Music Man Signature artist, Annie Clarke, more widely known as St. Vincent just released some exciting news this week! Annie shared her new album Daddy’s Home and shared its first single, “Pay Your Way in Pain.” The album is out May 14th! Daddy’s Home, St. Vincent’s 6th album shows how much Annie continues to push the envelope in the industry as an ever-evolving artist. She is regarded by many as the most consistently innovative and intriguing musician in modern music. In 2019, her masterpiece MASSEDUCTION’s title track won the Grammy for Best Rock Song and the album won Best Recording Package, just as her father was released from prison. Annie began writing songs that would become Daddy’s Home, inspired by his 9-year incarceration and shedding light on how one earns the right to be treated within humanity — partly a consequence of Annie experiencing the US justice system up close.
