Today, May 8th through Sunday May 10th, 320 Festival will kick off featuring mental health awareness through online seminars, interviews, and artist performances.
The festival was created by longtime Ernie Ball friend and partner, Kevin Lyman (founder of Vans Warped Tour), alongside 320 Changes Directions co-founder Talinda Bennington. Partnering with over 40 non-profits including our friends at MusiCares, the Keep A Breast Foundation. After her husband, Linkin Park vocalist, Chester Bennington took his own life, Bennington decided she wanted to help people who struggle with mental health.
Many of you know, I watched my late husband Chester suffer from mental illness and addiction. Tragically, in 2017, we lost him to suicide. Ever since then, I have felt compelled to help those struggling with their mental health to normalize the conversations surrounding it and educate people on how to cope.

I have witnessed so many people and have known so many people that are sometimes suffering in silence. We are a microcosm of society. There are a lot of people suffering but the stigma is coming off of it in a way. People are willing to talk about it.
