The Scranton-based punk rockers, The Menzingers, have received critical acclaim from their 2006 self-titled demo tape to their fifth studio album, After the Party. They have often been compared to their contemporaries signed to the same label, Epitaph Records. Now, the band has three big announcements: a new single, an upcoming album, and another tour.
First off, the single is called “Anna,” and they have released a music video alongside it, as seen above. The song features all of the mainstays of The Menzingers‘ sound; their pop-punk tendencies are true to form on this release. This single foretells the release of Hello Exile; the 12-track long album is slated to release on October 4th, 2019.
To catch “Anna” and other cuts off of Hello Exile live, be sure to keep an eye on The Menzingers’ official website for tour dates near you.
Strings
The Menzingers rely on Ernie Ball Power Slinky, Beefy Slinky, and Power Slinky Bass strings to rip up the stage.
