Longtime Ernie Ball legend Eric Clapton’s new album “I Still Do” is officially coming out this Friday, May 20th. The album is produced by Glyn Johns, who worked with Clapton on his 70’s classics, Slowhand and Backless.

In anticipation, Eric has released a new animated video for the single, “Spiral.” Many of the album’s songs are covers, but “Spiral” is a completely new track written for the album, written with two of longtime collaborators, Simon Climie and Andy Fairweather Low.

The video chronicles Clapton’s  rich career and features a portrait by Peter Blake, the artist responsible for the Beatles’ iconic Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover.

Check out the July 2016 issue of Guitar World, (available this week) to read the full interview with Clapton about the album, which you can now pre-order on iTunes.

Stream “Catch the Blues,” another single from the album, via Spotify.
