NAMM 2025 is here and we’re kicking off with an announcement of all the new Ernie Ball gear.

EARTHWOOD BELL BRONZE

Developed in collaboration with John Mayer, Ernie Ball Earthwood Bell Bronze acoustic guitar strings have been carefully crafted to meet John’s exacting standards, providing a new voice for your acoustic guitar. Inspired by alloys used traditionally for bells and cymbals, Ernie Ball’s patent-pending Bell Bronze alloy offers a richer, fuller sound than any other string in our catalog. These strings will breathe new life into your guitar.

Earthwood Bell Bronze strings are a giant leap forward in tone, playability, and durability. They’re great in any musical setting but really shine when played solo. There’s an orchestral quality to them.

Tim henson signature strings & accessory collection

Ernie Ball is proud to introduce the Tim Henson Signature String and Accessory Collection, developed in collaboration with one of today’s most innovative players. Designed to meet Tim’s unique specifications and versatile performance style, these new classical strings pair fluorocarbon trebles with silver-plated copper basses for a dynamic, brighter response with a percussive tonality. The electric strings comprise Cobalt and Paradigm technologies for maximum output and clarity with unmatched durability. In addition, we are releasing a Tim Henson Signature Ernie Ball FretWrap by GruvGear as well as an all-new Ernie Ball Tim Henson Signature cable.

Ernie Ball proudly introduces Pino Palladino Smoothie Flats Bass Strings, designed for effortless playability and exceptional tone. Precision-polished for an ultra-smooth feel, these premium flatwound strings glide easily under your fingers. Crafted with a cobalt alloy ribbon, they deliver a deep, rich tone that perfectly balances vintage warmth with modern flexibility. Developed with legendary bassist Pino Palladino, Smoothie Flats offer unparalleled performance and a silky-smooth playing experience.

THE ERNIE BALL CLASSICAL sOUNDHOLE COVER

The all-new Ernie Ball Classical Soundhole Cover fits a 3 3/4″ sound hole and helps reduce feedback when plugged in during an amplified performance. Made from a durable soft rubber material that will not harm your guitar’s surface, the Ernie Ball Classical Soundhole Cover will fit most acoustic guitars. Available Summer 2025.

 

NEW straps

The ever-popular Ernie Ball Strap Collection is getting an update in 2025. Ernie Ball’s Premium Straps now feature 3 new designs including Hole Lotta Metal in Gold and Silver and White Lightening. These Premium Straps are crafted from durable and comfortable 2″ wide polypropylene webbing adorned with the iconic stamped EB gold foil logo. The Ernie Ball Jacquard strap collection will add 1 new pattern- Noble Rose. Featuring machine-stitched leather and durable yet comfortable polypropylene webbing, Ernie Ball Jacquard Straps are adjustable from 41” to 72” in length. Available January 2025.

New Cables

Ernie Ball is excited to announce a range of new cables for 2025. The Ernie Ball Braided Cable lineup gets an update with a new colorway, Pumpkin Pie in both straight-to-straight and straight-to-angled plugs. The Ernie Ball Flex Cable Collection will also be available with straight-to-angle plugs and a brand new Ernie Ball Silent Cable is being introduced for noiseless performance. Available 2025.

 

ERNIE BALL mutes & dampeners

An all-new collection of versatile Mutes and Dampeners is being introduced this year. This new collection consists of a Guitar Mute Noodle which delivers the mellow tone of a rubber bridge, a Bass Mute Noodle which delivers the mellow tone of a foam mute, a Guitar Tailpiece String Dampener which reduces unwanted string noise and overtones behind the bridge, a Tremolo Spring Dampener which eliminated unwanted spring noise, a Headstock String Dampener which reduces unwanted overtones and ringing behind the nut, and finally a Headstock Pick Holder which keeps extra picks within your reach.
