Legendary new wave artist, Elvis Costello, has recently announced his Just Trust North American tour. The tour will start October 23 in Charlottesville, Virginia, which will immediately follow his summer tour co-headlining with Blondie. Despite the tour name closely resembling Costello’s famous 1981 release,Trust, it does not refer to the album. Instead, the name of the tour serves as an answer to some frequently asked questions, according to Rolling Stone:

‘Will they play my favorite song?,’ or, ‘Are they going to frighten the horses with a lot of excellent songs that are rarely performed?,’ not to mention, ‘Can I expect the hits of yesteryear and those of tomorrow?’ To which we say: Just Trust Elvis Costello and The Imposters.

This year has been jam-packed for Costello, as he was also recently awarded an O.B.E. award as part of the annual Queen’s Birthday Honours List. This title of Officer of the Order of the British Empire was awarded for his “Services to Music,” adding him to a long list of well-respected British artists.
