Darius Rucker
Darius Rucker appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for the all-military Fleet Week audience. Darius and Jimmy teamed up to perform a hilarious and patriotic parody of Hootie and the Blowfish’s “Only Wanna Be With You.” “Only Wanna Be With You” is from their 1994 album Cracked Rear View to an audience of majority military members who enjoyed the performance, especially when it suggested that Congress pass a law allowing all troops to “drink for free”.

Alt-J
Alt-J surprised the Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s audience with a rendition of their song “In Cold Blood” with Pusha T and Twin Shadow. The show featured dark visuals that perfectly complemented the song’s dark feel. “In Cold Blood” is from Alt-J’s 2017 album Relaxer. Alt-J is currently in the midst of an International Summer Tour.

Dierks Bentley
Dierks Bentley also made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on June 13th. He performed “Burning Man” from his new album, The Mountain, which was released on June 8th. The Mountain is the ninth studio album from the country singer. Dierks is currently on his North American Mountain High Tour that continues through the Summer and into October.

Granger Smith
Granger Smith performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live on June 19th. They performed “You’re In It” and “Happens Like That.” Both songs are from the 2017 album When The Good Guys Win. The videos showcase the band’s raw talent and ability to create emotion within their music. Check out Ernie Ball guitarist, John Marlin rip a solo in the video below. Plain White T’s
The Plain White T’s released two new singles “Your Body” and “Bonnie I Want You.” “Your Body” came with the Official Music Video below. The two singles are released to tease their upcoming album, Parallel Universe. Parallel Universe will be released August 24th and will be their eighth studio album. The “Your Body” music video was produced to look like it came from the pre-2000’s era of television. The fuzzy and pixelated video blends well with the nostalgic love song.

Real Friends
Real Friends announced their Third LP, Composure, which is set to release to the public on July 13th. To keep their fans satisfied, they released a new single from the album. “Smiling on the Outside” which premiered June 18th and speaks to fans about the mental health struggles the band has recently endured. Bassist Kyle Fasel said,
We focused more on the overall emotional climate of each song than ever before. I truly think that every song on the record stands on its own. But when all of the songs come together it creates our best effort to date.

Post Animal have dropped a thrilling Official Music Video for their song “Tire Eyes.” The song comes from their debut album, When I Think Of You In A Castle that premiered April 20th. The video for the song compliments the psychedelic rock genre of this pioneer band.

Tour Announcements
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators
Slash featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators are releasing a new album and have already begun their headlining tour. The new album is called Living The Dream and will be released on September 21st. Living The Dream will be the band’s third album under their name. Their packed fall tour will supplement the release of the new album as they travel throughout the United States. The Tour includes 20 dates and ends October 14th in Sacramento, California. Tickets go on sale Friday, June 22nd.

The Frights
The Frights are taking off on another tour and queued up a brand new album to be released on August 24th. Hypochondriac will be the group’s third album and their first with Epitaph Records. They will be kicking off the tour on the same day as the release of Hypochondriac which will continue well into October. The group also released a new song with an Official Music Video for “Me and We and I.” The laid back vibe of the video compliments this track and represents the San Diego foursome’s beautiful home in Southern California.

Seether has announced the tour dates for their album Poison The Parish. As their seventh album, Poison The Parish has reached multi-platinum selling level and was #1 on Billboard’s Hard Rock Albums Chart. Brian Fallon
Brian Fallon (singer/guitarist for The Gaslight Anthem) is co-headlining a summer tour with Craig Finn from The Hold Steady’s. The two will be traveling alone, without their bands. Because Brian Fallon released his solo album Sleepwalkers, he will have plenty of new material to draw from. The tour begins October 2nd, and tickets are available now.
