The SXSW Festival took over Austin, TX for another year during March 8-17, where musicians, filmmakers, and artists alike came together to celebrate technology, society and culture. She Shreds and Nylon magazines took over Cheer Up Charlie’s during the festival to showcase “women musician’s or bands led by women.” Check out some of our favorite moments from the event below and catch full event coverage here.

She Shreds x Nylon

Sávila (right), led by She Shreds’ own editor-in-chief Fabi Reyna got the crowd going with their Latin inspired tunes. Black Belt Eagle Scout (left) tugged at heart strings with her poetic lyrics while jamming on her Ernie Ball Music Man St. Vincent electric guitar.

Artists were sent home with Danielle Nicole handbags filled with Ernie Ball Ultra Slinky electric strings, Ukulele strings, Regular Slinky bass strings, Ernie Ball stickers, and Everlast picks (launching April 1st).

The night was packed with live music, great company, and plenty of Ernie Ball.
