The 30th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert takes place this weekend at Northern California’s Shoreline Amphitheatre, and Ernie Ball artists Metallica and Cage The Elephant are scheduled to perform. The two-day festival, held every year in October by Neil Young, features all-acoustic performances from a rotating cast of performers. The event raises funds for The Bridge School, an innovative organization educating children with severe speech and physical impairments.

Metallica also performed at the 1997 and 2007 iterations of the benefit. Watch their acoustic performance of Disposable Heroes from the 2007 show below:

Tickets to the show can be purchased via Live Nation, the proceeds from which benefit the Bridge School. Metallica is already offering for pre-order the full audio recording of their performance. All net proceeds from the sale of this recording will be donated to the Bridge School.  In the meantime, check out some of the most popular tracks by both Metallica and Cage The Elephant in this Spotify playist.
