Nashville based Ernie Ball artist Julien Baker, astounded people creating a buzz independently around her first solo record “Sprained Ankle” from 2015. Now she has followed up that record with an honest self confidence and personal knowledge with “Turn Out The Lights”.

Julien Bakers’ songwriting connects over the complexities of inner turmoil and blending beautiful ballads with poetic references to fear, doubt and mental health. At 22, Julien has found a way to arch over the self centered tendencies of adolescence and go beyond in a beautiful second album that mends devotion with its surrounding pain and fears. Julien Baker described songwriting in a interview with The New York Times.

Some songs just fall out of you and some you have to wrestle out like an abscess.
