Napa Valley music festival, BottleRock returns to the Napa Valley Expo this Memorial day weekend, May 27th to 29th, after being canceled in 2020 and postponed to Labor Day weekend in 2021. The festival announced the daily lineup of artists with headliners Metallica, P!NK, and Twenty One Pilots.
This year’s lineup might be BottleRock’s most diverse yet, with sounds seeping from every corner of the music industry. While the days of alternative and rock dominating the lineup are far gone, there is still plenty of great veteran and up-and-coming groups within rock, punk, and alternative to look out for. The 3-day general admission tickets are already sold out. However, the producers of BottleRock Napa Valley are sponsoring several weeks’ worth of shows in Napa, San Francisco, Oakland, Sacramento, and San Jose. Designed to keep the music playing even after the festival ends each night at 10 p.m., you can find tickets for BottleRock’s “AfterDark” shows for sale on the festival’s website. Several of the festival’s artists will perform their own shows, including The Wedding Band, a side project of Metallica’s Kirk Hammett and Robert Trujillo, as well as Iration, and Silversun Pickups.

Metallica
Heavy metal group, Metallica is one of the biggest selling acts in the music industry. They are responsible for some of the rawest, most energetic metal albums of the early ‘80s to ‘90s. Winning multiple Grammy awards and an induction to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Metallica appeals to millions of fans, as one of the founding bands of thrash metal. They have performed in all seven continents, garnered over 15 billion streams, and sold nearly 120 million albums. Metallica will be headlining BottleRock on Friday, May 27th.

P!nk
American singer and songwriter P!NK made her debut in 2000 and has released 8 studio albums, sold over 60 million albums worldwide, and sold out arenas all over the world. The Pennsylvania-born rock artist has also won three Grammy and seven MTV Video Music Awards. Her 2020 release “Cover Me In Sunshine”, a duet with her daughter Willow Sage Hart. Also in 2020, her critical acclaim live music project All I Know So Far: Setlist. P!NK will be playing on Sunday, May 29th.

Luke Combs
Blending elements of classic country with modern R&B and southern tradition, Luke Combs is set to bring soulful, gritty musicianship to BottleRock this year. With breakthrough hits like “Hurricane” and “Forever After All” and his latest single, “Doin’ This”, the Nashville native has accumulated over 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and sold over 7 million records. Luke Combs is set to perform on Sunday, May, 29th.

Twenty One Pilots
Twenty One Pilots quietly emerged as one of the most successful Alternative pop bands of the 21st century and redefined the sound of a generation. Drawing inspirations from hip hop, R&B, and electronic, this Ohio-born duo accumulates billions of streams and dozens of multi-Platinum certifications around the world. Their new full-length album, Scaled And Icy is set to be performed on Saturday, May 28th.

Rainbow Kitten Surprise
Rainbow Kitten Surprise makes eclectic melodic tunes that can make anyone dance. Drawing elements of classic folk, hip-hop, and rock, RKS combines harmony and lyrical poetry, with a rush of abnormal instrumentation. Their 2018 full-length debut for Elektra, “How To: Friend, Love, Freefall” was produced by Grammy Award-winner Jay Joyce (Cage The Elephant, Sleeper Agent). They will be performing on Saturday, May 28th.

Iration
Hawaiian reggae group, Iration has spent years perfecting their distinct hybrid style of music. Over their years touring they have blended all influences together as evidenced on their seventh, and most recent, full-length album Coastin’ A record about being thankful for the moments that we have. Catch them performing on Friday, May 27th.

Fletcher
New Jersey-born pop artist, Cari Fletcher has an affinity for heartfelt melodic tunes accompanied by candid storytelling. Since graduating from NYU, FLETCHER has made a name for herself in pop music, and in 2019 released her debut EP “you ruined new york city for me” via Capitol Records. Since her debut, Fletcher has sold out several headline tours and made appearances at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Life is Beautiful. Most recently, FLETCHER released “Cherry” with Hayley Kiyoko. She will perform on Friday, May 27th.

Atlas Genius
Michael and Kieth Jeffery, known better as Atlas Genius, built a recording studio in their home’s garage to record their debut album and certified gold hit single “Trojans.” Over the last decade, the two brothers from South Australia have proven that their quick rise to fame was no fluke. These catchy-yet-meaningful songs have been streamed nearly 300 million to date.
They will be performing on Friday, May 27th.

Grandson
Grandson takes elements of his rock and roll, hip hop, and electronic music roots and combines them to tell stories of reclaiming power over one’s life. Since releasing his modern tragedy EP series, Grandson has toured extensively across North America, Russia, and Europe, accumulating hundreds of millions of streams online. Now, grandson is ready to release his debut album, Death of an Optimist. Performing Sunday, May 29th.

The Alive
The Alive is a California-based rock band launched between surf & skate sessions in 2018.
