Gojira
Highly influential french quartet Gojira came onto the scene in an obscure way, self-recording their initial releases, and making major waves in their genre. They are known for their unpredictable blend of death, thrash, progressive, groove, and sometimes math metal, which has made them a constant influence over technical metal bands. After several LP’s and tours, Gojira inked a deal with label Roadrunner Records for the release of L’Enfant Sauvage (The Wild Child ), opening them to a wider audience and reaching the Top 40 in American, Canadian, Swedish and French Charts. In June of 2018, the band released footage from a live session recorded at Silver Cord studios in New York, which garnered millions of views as the band performed “Global Warming” for the first time since the recording of it off their 2004 record Mars To Sirius.
