Firmly standing at the forefront of the current hardcore/punk music scene is Los Angeles’ Terror. The band has been cranking out the heavy fast-paced tracks since 2002, fronted by infamous vocalist Scott Vogel of past acts like Buried Alive and Slugfest. The group prides itself on playing fast and fun for almost 20 years with seven studio albums, five live records, and multiple singles and EPs. With a goal to play heavy and fast and to deliver lyrics that promote fun, “pit activation,” and commitment to the scene, Terror continues to prove they are the Keepers of the Faith.

Hail The Sun
Get To Know:
Always pushing themselves to the max, the steadfast work ethic of Hail The Sun is head-turning and admirable. Between moving heavy dynamic rhythms and duel guitar work that combines melodic leads with prog-rock energy. Aric Garcia and Shane Gann (guitarists) play off each other’s parts driving the guitar sound with Donovon Malero at the helm (Drummer/Vocalist). The band’s recent single releases of Parasitic Cleanse and Domino come after the positive reaction to their last album Mental Knife. The new single highlights a maturity and songwriting awareness that early fans always saw within the band but is now unavoidable – not only pushing the band but the genre in its entirety.

Islander
Get To Know:
Described as “emotional alt-metal,” Islander has been delivering their blend of nu-metal, alt, and emo-core since their inception in 2011. The group’s second EP, released in 2013 via Victory Records, boosted the band’s notoriety and caught the attention of fellow musicians like “Head” from Korn and Sonny of P.O.D. who praised the music as fresh and honest. It wasn’t long before the band hit the stage alongside bands like Emmure, Nonpoint, and Ill Niño, and were featured at festivals like Rock on the Range, Carolina Rebellion, and more. Their latest full-length, Power Under Control, hit #18 on the US Hard Rock chart and #9 on the US Heatseekers charts in 2016. With a new bassist and drummer in hand and a handful of new singles since 2017, Islander is ready to hit it hard once again.
