The soul-rock belting Nathaniel Rateliff is taking on 2020 with a new solo tour and following album. His work with his band, The Night Sweats, has landed them some serious attention for smashing tracks like “S.O.B.” and “I Need Never Get Old,” but Rateliff has been planning to head back to his solo roots for old times sake.

I’ve been working on some other stuff outside of The Night Sweats. I always need to go back to the singer-songwriter stuff. I haven’t been doing it that much.

The 2020 tour is operating under the name “And It’s Still Alright.” On the tour, Nathaniel Rateliff will take on major cities with both a full backing band and as a stripped-down, acoustic act.

The details for the LP coming from Rateliff have been shrouded in mystery. So far, we know that it will be released on Stax Records in early 2020. If you want to keep up with the latest developments on the upcoming release, be sure to check out Nathaniel Rateliff‘s official website.
