A few months ago, we reported on rumors that Ernie Ball artists Kurt Vile and Courtney Barnett were teaming up to record a collaborative record together. In June, the two announced a North American tour in support of that record and today they released a video for “Over Everything” the first single off their much-anticipated album, Lotta Sea Lice (Pre-order here: https://lnk.to/CBKVID). Supporting the duo on their tour is a band known as the Sea Lice, comprised of Sleater-Kinney’s Janet Weiss and touring member Katie Harkin, Rob Laakso of The Violators, and Warpaint’s Stella Mozgawa. Additionally, the lineup has partnered with the Plus 1 organization, and one dollar from every ticket sold on the tour will be donated to the ACLU. The new record will be released later this year.
