Ernie Ball artist Mac DeMarco announced he will be releasing a new album in 2019, debuting on his own label — ironically named Mac’s Record Label. In addition to the highly anticipated album announcement, he also confirmed that he will be trekking on a 27-leg tour starting in May, making stops in cities across North America. The Canadian artist will kick off his tour after his appearances at the Coachella Music and Arts Festival in April. Find the whole schedule for his tour here.
Mac DeMarco rapidly rose to the top of the indie charts in 2014 with the release of his album Salad Days. His quirky charisma and goofball personality charmed fans and critics alike, landing him gigs at some of music’s most notorious festivals, including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, and Outside Lands. His most recent album, This Old Dog, was released in 2017, with a related release titled Old Dog Demos put out last year. Last year, he announced his record label and touted his first-ever solo tour without his backing band.
