As a punchy cold front rolled into the second weekend of Austin City Limits, we were reminded of the official changing of seasons — thus saying goodbye to a summer full of warm weather and live music. With festival season inevitably coming to a close, we made sure to cash in on one last weekend full of festivities.
The weekend surely provided a spectrum of sounds for any listener. With Ernie Ball artists including Slash of Guns N’ Roses, Billie Eilish, IDLES, and Rebelution all gracing stages, it was hard not to have fun. Check out some our favorite moments from ACL Fest below…
Roadie Lounge
This year, we teamed up with several industry leaders to partner on Relix’s Roadie Lounge. The space welcomed artists, sound engineers, tour managers, and everyone else essential to putting on the world-class performances you see throughout the weekend.
The Roadie Lounge also partnered with the new industry-wide initiative, Backline, who provides mental health and wellness resources to those involved in the music industry. The initiative is specifically geared towards those subjected to the rigorous hustle and lifestyle touring brings. Learn more about Backline here.
Onstage With Ernie Ball
My dad took lessons from an Ernie Ball guitar shop in Tarzana, CA, he played in surf rock bands, and it’s how I got into guitar. It all comes around now with me playing Ernie Ball.
