68′

Loud and out of control, the heavy alt-rock duo 68 has been crushing blues, garage inspired rock riffs since 2013. Coming from the metalcore/hardcore world, Josh Scogin was the vocalist for Norma Jean until 2003 when he left to front the band The Chariot, allowing him to push his musical influences in new directions. In 2013, after posting a countdown on Twitter, Josh launched the official ‘68 website. After quickly selling out their first 7″ pressing record, the band released a single with No Sleep Recs, and their debut full-length with Entertainment One Music, titled In Humour Sadness. ‘68’s latest release is titled Two Parts Viper and you can check out the official video for the single “Whether Terrified or Unafraid” above.

Gretchen Menn

Longtime Ernie Ball family member and mega-talented guitar ripper Gretchen Menn dove deep in love with her guitar, but in order to feed her passion she needed to pay the bills. Naturally, she went to flight school, ultimately flying regional jets for airlines before pursuing music full time. Guitar World magazine has described her solo music as

“..seeking the unknown by blending disparate jazz, prog, and world-music influences into a tasty, guitaristic thrill ride.”

In 2007 she recorded Unbreakable Strings with Sticks and Stones, a high-energy, instrumental trio. In 2010, she played in Lapdance Armageddon, an aggressive acoustic duo with Jude Gold. In 2011 she wrote, produced, and recorded her first solo album, Hale Souls. She continues to tour internationally with Zepparella and Gretchen’s latest solo record titled Abandon All Hope is now available on her website.

We Were Promised Jetpacks

Scottish rockers We Were Promised Jetpacks began with humble beginnings in their 20s before making splashes in North America with their debut release These Four Walls. In 2014, after releasing the album Unraveling, with lots of touring and hype, the band found themselves at a period of needing to take a break. After taking the time to re-find themselves, celebrate weddings, life, and birthdays, the band returned — now in their 30’s — with a rekindling of the sound the band had made before a life on the road. The band released their long-awaited record in 2018 titled The More I Sleep the More I Dream, and followed it up with a headlining tour. Check out their official music video for their single “Repeating Patterns” above.
